Study Groups

Central to the tutorial program are the study groups.  These groups are formed based on need/demand from core lower division courses.

All students should begin their search for tutorial support with these study groups.  If a student is seeking support for a course for which we provide a group, then they are required to participate in these groups for a minimum of 2-3 weeks before requesting an individual tutor.

Individual tutoring is not readily available for those courses that the ASC provides study groups.

Study Groups offered are listed on our web site, the tutorial bulletin board, and advisor's office doors in the ASC.  Note the days, times and location.  If you are in a class for which we have a study group, your name will automatically be added to the list.  If you are mandated, you will be required to attend this study group.
