Advises and assists student athletes towards holistic development, including academic options and alternatives while understanding and complying with University, College, and NCAA rules and requirements. Provides tailored academic counseling to maximize student athlete potential and academic performance while balancing athletic and personal commitments.
Aaron earned his B.A. in Economics with a minor in Anthropology from UCLA in 2004 and M.A. in Education through UC Berkeley’s Cultural Studies of Sport in Education program in 2015. He worked in the Orientation Program as an undergraduate student, and upon graduation began working as a College Academic Counselor for student athletes at UCLA in 2005. He held this position until joining Cal as an academic advisor in July of 2011. Aaron lives in the Bay Area with his wife and two daughters.
