Oversees and provides comprehensive academic support such as time management, effective study skills, developmental writing, strategic reading, and assessment preparation for student athletes.
Andrea is a Wisconsin native who attended Indiana University, where she received a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in Mathematics. She was a Big-Ten Distinguished Scholar while she rowed (2008 - 2010) and played basketball (2010-2011) for Indiana.
After graduating from Indiana, Andrea went on to join Teach For America where she taught middle and high school math at an inner city charter school in Memphis, Tennessee for two years. She then attended the University of Memphis for a year (2014-15) while obtaining her master's degree in Sports Commerce. She was a graduate assistant with the Center for Athletic Academic Services and she spent her time mentoring and tutoring student-athletes. After receiving her master's, Andrea went back to teaching high school math at the charter school she previously worked at.
