Learning Specialist
Provides comprehensive academic support, such as time management, effective study skills, developmental writing, strategic reading, and assessment preparation. They also manage a caseload of Graduate Tutors, which also provide similar academic support to their own caseload of students, and possibly additional support for the Learning Specialists' cohort.
Background
MC earned her M.Ed. in Education Leadership and Policy (2024), M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction (2018) and B.A. in Secondary Education and Mathematics (2016) from Boston College. Prior to joining the ASC, she was a high school math teacher, and appreciates the opportunity to continue working with students and supporting their academic success, especially in their math courses. Having played sports growing up, she feels particularly grateful to support students in their pursuit of academic excellence and personal growth.
