Academic Advisor

Advises and assists students towards holistic development, including academic options and alternatives, while understanding and complying with University, College, and NCAA rules and requirements. Provides tailored academic counseling to maximize the student's academic performance while balancing athletic and personal commitments.

Background

Emily received her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Global Health from UCLA in 2020, where she competed as a student-athlete on the Swim & Dive team. She later earned her Master’s in Education in Transformative Coaching and Leadership from UCLA in 2025, where she served as the student representative for her graduate program. While pursuing her master’s degree, Emily worked in UCLA Athletics as an Academic Mentor, supporting freshmen, transfer, and international student-athletes across five sports. Since 2022, she has coached swimming at club and collegiate levels at Brea Aquatics, Chapman University, and UCLA, as well as swim camps at UT Austin. Her leadership philosophy is to develop well-rounded individuals and empower student-athletes to realize their full potential. Emily is from Southern California and the Bay Area. She is a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan and enjoys traveling, fitness, country music, sports, picnics, and wildlife.
